Mission Initiatives

The outreach efforts of Dr. Lance D. Watson and the Saint Paul's Baptist Church do not end at the doors of the church. Dr. Lance Watson and the Saint Paul's Baptist Church invest significantly in outreach programming and partnerships with organizations in the USA and around the world.

Exodus, our ministry to those who are incarcerated provides teaching and worship support to prisoners. In addition, through both our Back to School Blast and our No Child Without a Toy initiatives, we provide special assistance to families with children whose parents are incarcerated.

Heritage, our ministry to those in nursing homes provides teaching and worship support to persons who are residing in nursing and convalescent facilities in Central Virginia.

Back to School Blast provides back packs, school supplies and clothing for thousands of families in need in Central Virginia on an annual basis.

Operation Harvest provides complete Thanksgiving Meals for thousands of families throughout Central Virginia.

No Child Without a Toy provides gifts of clothing, shoes and toys at Christmas for families in need with a special emphasis on single parent families and families with children whose parents are incarcerated.

Christmas for the Troops provides "care packages" for our soldiers deployed overseas in the hope of bringing encouragement and support to those displaced from their families during the holiday season by national service.

Emergency Assistance provides emergency financial assistance, food, clothing and information to families and individuals in distress.
